Nightlife venues and other entertainment business are shut down in Northern Taiwan

As the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) confirmed 29 local COVID-19 cases on May 14. Therefore, Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan, Keelung, and Yilan have announced stricter COVID-19 prevention measures. Starting from May 25, nightlife venues, dance halls, tea houses, hostess bars, and Internet cafes, will be temporarily shut down for an indefinite period of time.
