Chiayi City's Department of Social Affairs stated that this special taxi service is for citizens of Chiayi City. Specifically for those who had registered for the AstraZeneca (AZ) vaccine and have no relatives to bring them to the vaccination stations. Since the government will subsidize NTD50 for the cab fare, passengers only have to pay the remaining NTD50.

For those experiencing financial difficulties in Chiayi City, please directly set appointments with the chiefs in charge of vaccination of drivers in the special taxis. They will be exempted from paying the cab fare.
