Lu Yuan Ting (呂爰廷), an origami artist, lead immigrants to experience the art of origami and make paper firecrackers by using Spring Festival couplet papers. Several unique artworks were created via corporation between parents and children.

Since most immigrants are unable to return to their hometowns, National Immigration Agency (NIA) specially invited an immigrant from Vietnam - Zheng Qiao Ying (鄭僑瑩) to share the traditional customs and food of Vietnamese Spring Festival. Without traveling abroad, participants can have a taste of the Vietnamese spring rolls, rice rolls, and Vietnamese bread, reducing their feelings of homesickness.
