The "2023 Taoyuan Children's Art Festival" was organized by the Taoyuan City Government's Department of Cultural Affairs from July 8 to August 13. The festival brought Phare the Cambodian Circus to perform in Taiwan and featured a number of outstanding exhibitions, marketplaces, and art experiences.

In the opening week of the event, Phare the Cambodian Circus from Cambodia performed a brand-new piece called "Khmer Angkor Village" for the audience. This act thoroughly depicted rural life in Cambodia while also using elements of Hinduism, Buddhism, and elven beliefs to create magical and exotic tales.

The Children's Art Festival also features four outdoor themed events, with the parent-child market being one of the highlights at Bade Pond Ecological Park on July 15 and 16 and Zhongli Xingren Parent-Child Park on August 5 and 6. In addition, five performance teams will deliver magnificent performances throughout the weekends of July 22, 23, 29, and 30 in parks, activity centers, and art and cultural sites throughout Taoyuan City's 13 districts. These performances will include circus, music performances, and plays.

There will be four parent-child theater performances at Taoyuan Arts Plaza on July 29 and August 13 by local teams. From July 5 to August 8, Taoyuan 77 Cultural Streets, Taoyuan Tu Di Gong Cultural Museum, Nankan Children's Art Village, and other locations will host displays of Taoyuan Japanese-style dormitories and experiential activities.
