Bamboo Airways launches first Taipei-Danang direct flight.

Evaluating the high potential of aviation market in Taiwan, Vietnam-based Bamboo Airways has recently launched its first direct flight from Taipei to Danang.

According to the China Times Express report, since the New Southbound policy has come into effect, the number of Taiwanese tourists and businessman going to Vietnam surged significantly. Recognizing the potential of this market, Bamboo Airways has officially launched its first international direct flight connecting Taipei and Danang. Besides, its general agent Cool Travel located in Taiwan has held a Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for celebrating its first flight route.

At present, Taipei-Danang direct flight operates once every 5 days, departing from Da Nang at 8:40am (Vietnam time) and arriving at Taoyuan Airport at 12:25pm (Taiwan time). The total flight time is only 2.5 hours.

The company said that in the future it will open several direct flights from Taiwan to Nha Trang, Halong Bay, Phu Quoc Island, Hanoi and other cities. Passengers will have more options to travel.
