The Philippine Government announces 6,895 Covid-19 cases and 10,739 recoveries on April 28

According to The Manila Times, the Philippines has logged 6,895 new cases of and 10,739 recoveries from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) on April 28, according to the Department of Health (DoH).

The decrease in the number of cases was due to the low output of Covid test results from DoH-accredited laboratories on April 27 as five failed to submit data to the Covid-19 Document Repository System.
