To deepen sewer environment education, the National Land Management Agency is holding a "Sewer Construction" board game teaching plan submission event from now until September 15th. The event aims to encourage teachers to creatively engage students with issues related to domestic wastewater treatment, sustainable water resource recycling, and the 2050 net-zero carbon emission goal through board games.

The event is divided into two categories: middle school and elementary school groups. Teachers are required to submit teaching plans using the board game "Forest Battle: The Mysterious Underground Passage" as a teaching tool. The National Land Management Agency will review and select the teaching plans, and each teacher may apply for up to three board games as teaching aids. Teachers whose plans pass the review will receive a certificate of appreciation for participation. Five outstanding teaching plans will be selected from each group, and the winners will receive NT$5,000 and a certificate. The list of winners will be announced by November 2024. In addition to the prize winners, all approved submissions will receive a certificate of appreciation.

Board Game Teaching Plan Submission Event:

  1. Submission Period: From now until September 15th.
  2. Selection Period: September 23rd to October 13th, 2024.
  3. Winners Announcement: October 31st, 2024.
