The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC, 中央流行疫情指揮中心) announced 18 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Taiwan on July 15. Of the 18 new cases, 14 are domestic and the other 4 are imported, along with 6 deaths.

The CECC pointed out that of the 14 domestic cases, eight are men and the other six are women, aged between under 10 to 69 years old. Regarding those domestic cases, Taipei City reported the most cases, at 9, and Taoyuan City had the second highest number, at 3. New Taipei City reported 2 cases.

Regarding the six deaths announced today, they were one man and five women between 60 and 89 years old. The CECC reported that a total of 1,707,362 cases related to COVID-19 have been reported in Taiwan among which COVID-19 has been ruled out in 1,690,141.
