Tiffany Chang (張芳瑜), a Stanford University student in the US, recently competed in and crowned in the 35th Miss Asia USA pageant. Being the first Taiwanese to win Miss Asia USA, Tiffany Chang expressed her gratitude and appreciation on social media. It's not only her win, either. She entered this beauty contest to demonstrate to the world that Taiwan is a sovereign nation.
20-year-old Tiffany Chang is the second-generation Taiwanese American. She was chosen as the 2022 "Miss Taiwanese American" and frequently speaks on behalf of the Taiwanese expatriate in the US at significant occasions. She also took part in Huntington Beach's Fourth of July Parade.

According to Tiffany Chang, representing Taiwan is the main goal of competing in the Miss Asia USA beauty contest. Chang gained a comprehensive understanding of Taiwan's foreign circumstances during her reign as Miss Taiwanese American. Her beauty contest helped more people learn about Taiwan by representing both the nation and the Taiwanese community.
