According to Very peaceful All Saints' Day in Metro Manila -- NCRPO | Inquirer News, on November 1, Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio Corpus Nartatez Jr., the director of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), reported that All Saints' Day in the city is rather tranquil.

According to Nartatez, some 23,000 police and public safety officers—including personnel from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, the Bureau of Fire Protection, and other public safety forces—were sent out in connection with Undas 2023 and the just finished barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections.

According to Very peaceful All Saints' Day in Metro Manila -- NCRPO | Inquirer News, in an interview with reporters at the Libingan ng mga Bayani in Taguig City, Nartatez stated that Undas is now quite peaceful.

The NCRPO is in responsibility of keeping an eye on 53 columbaria and 74 cemeteries in Metro Manila, he added.

In order to assure everyone's safety, Nartatez emphasized that security guards and staff are closely inspecting visits to the cemetery.

According to Very peaceful All Saints' Day in Metro Manila -- NCRPO | Inquirer News, at response to a question on whether Nartatez supports the decision to prohibit overnight stays at certain graves, he stated that, in his opinion, it is acceptable.
