Pingtung County Government publicizes multilingual disease control to build safe environment

 

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Pingtung County Government recently invited the tourism department commissioned by the central government to jointly host a coordination meeting led by Deputy County Mayor, Wu Lixue (吳麗雪), to check if disease control measures were carried out at all tourist sites. The county government also commissioned a team to work with the central government departments to build a comprehensively safe environment for tourism in Pingtung.

 

Pingtung County Government invited various units, including Kenting National Park Headquarters, Maolin National Scenic Area Management Office, Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area Administration, the Indigenous Peoples Cultural Development Center, Taiwan Hakka Culture Development Center, Pingtung Forest District Office, and the Third Maintenance Office of Directorate General of Highways to investigate and plan forward newest disease control measures. Moreover, relevant policies were publicized in various languages, including Chinese, Taiwanese, Hakka, Indigenous languages, English, Vietnamese, and Indonesian. 

 

Pingtung County Government worked with central and local units to remind members of the public and tourists to follow the government's policies, practice self-health management, wash hands, throw away used masks, and keep a distance, through drone broadcasting.
