Recently, heavy rains caused flooding in large area of northern Taiwan. A few days later, the weather front moves, a heavy rain in southern Taiwan will become. Centers for Disease Control(CDC)said there will be continuously rainfall around the country, and urged the citizens to clear water containers immediately after the rain to avoid vector mosquito breeding. CDC agency reminds the public to implement the cleaning steps of "patrolling, pouring, cleaning and brushing" and carefully inspect containers inside and outside the home to see if there are potential breeding sources, such as vases, flower pans, discarded bottles, and buckets, and to remove them thoroughly to reduce the risk of mosquito breeding.

Otherwise, the CDC agency also mentioned people to seek medical advice as soon as possible if they find symptoms of dengue fever, and to inform them of their travel history. Medical institutions are also urged to be vigilant and to ask more questions about patients' TOCC (travel history, occupation history, contact history, cluster history).
