According to the Singapore Government, Singapore will continue to work toward Stay-Home-Notice (SHN) free travel for all fully vaccinated visitors. This will be accomplished by restoring and enlarging the Vaccinated Travel Lanes, as well as streamlining country/region classification and border measures (VTLs).

Besides, on-arrival PCR testing is no longer required for VTL and Category I travelers, including Taiwan. Instead, they'll have up to 24 hours from the time they arrive in Singapore to take a supervised self-swab ART at one of the testing centers across the nation.

The existing Categories II, III, and IV will be merged into a new category called General Travel. Quarantine-free border measures are still available to fully vaccinated travelers entering via VTL arrangements.

For the time being, all travelers from Category I countries/regions, which have very low infection rates, will be able to travel without quarantine. For countries/regions with developing COVID-19 conditions that require tougher border measures on arrivals, a new "Restricted" category will be formed.

In addition, from February 21, 2022, the required travel history for entry into Singapore would be decreased from 14 to 7 days. Because of the shorter incubation period of the Omicron variety, the SHN duration will be standardized at 7 days across all country/region categories.

To enter Singapore, holders of a Vaccinated Long-Term Pass (excluding those with a Work Permit) will no longer need a Vaccinated Travel Pass or an Entry Approval. They will still be required to follow border health regulations upon admission.

Travellers should check the SafeTravel website for the most up-to-date border measures for their affiliated nation or region and be aware that they will be subjected to the current border procedures when entering Singapore.

At present, 24 countries under the category of VTL are Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Canada, Denmark, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Maldives, the Netherlands, the Republic of Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
