Taiwan recently established the first "Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning" (華語文學習中心) in the UK, which mainly accepts adults over 18 years old, and provides adult British people with Taiwanese Mandarin language courses. The Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning is in the Borough of Barnet, North London. There are currently 3 classes with nearly 40 students, and classes have started in early September.
