The General Association of Chinese Culture (GACC) and Eslite Spectrum recently held the first-ever two-day "TAIWAN PLUS" event at Tokyo's Ueno Park. Taiwan's gods are also highlighted in the cultural event in order to introduce locals about Taiwan's ancient religious culture. Over 220,000 individuals attended the two-day event.

This year marks "TAIWAN PLUS"'s fourth anniversary. According to GACC, the deity of Taiwan once more invited to Tokyo for the cultural event this year. The Eight Trigrams charms and the peace charms unique to Tokyo are two activities available at the Xia-Hai City God temple stand. Japanese people may try out tossing moon blocks at the Bangka Qingshan Temple stand, which draws plenty of tourists who want to snap pictures.

This event, according to the vice president (鄭麗君) of GACC, was highly interesting since it featured native Taiwanese ingredients, limited mementos, and a variety of music and designs.

Furuya Keiji, the head of the Japan-Republic of China Diet Members' Consultative Council, claimed that Taiwanese cuisine is delectable, and its residents are kind and welcoming. He wishes that more Japanese people may visit Taiwan.
