The demographic composition of Taiwan's society is becoming more diversified. Among them, there are many new ethnic groups from various countries who came and got married in Taiwan. It is inevitable that cultural differences in life will cause the accumulation of physical and psychological stress. In order to help new immigrants integrate into local life, the Taitung County Government’s Social Affairs Department (台東縣政府社會處) organized the "Parent-Child Relief and Care for Equal Rights Advocacy" (親子紓壓暨照顧平權宣導) from now until October 16, which include activities, children’s toys, handicrafts, from the early days of Taiwan. There will be new immigrant parent-child cooking activities preparing special dishes, promoting parent-child exchanges within their families.

Taitung County Mayor Jao Ching-Ling (饒慶鈴) said that according to the results of the survey on the life needs of children and adolescents in Taitung County, the most common problem that parents encounter in caring for or in raising their children is their "lack of time to accompany their children." A survey of women’s living conditions in Taitung County shows that new immigrant mothers lack leisure activities, life pressure accumulates, and men's participation in helping with housework and caring for children needs to be strengthened. Therefore, the Taitung County Government Social Affairs Department of Nan Hui Hsien District Social Welfare Service Center especially used the post-epidemic period to handle this activity.
