 The Tourism Bureau, as well as numerous counties and towns, are aggressively marketing various activities to draw more foreign tourists as the worldwide pandemic slows down and after Taiwan opens its border to travelers. The Tourism Bureau of Tainan City Government has created a Muslim-friendly tourism environment to raise Tainan City's exposure in the Muslim travel market by listing a specific inventory of Tainan shops that have achieved Halal certification.

The three main global religions are referred to be Islam, Buddhism, and Christianity according to Tourism Bureau, Tainan City Government. More than one billion people, or nearly a quarter of the world's population, now identify as Muslims, and there are more than six billion of them. In particular, Indonesia has more than 200 million Muslims, making up a significant portion of the makeup in the Asia-Pacific area.

According to Tourism Bureau, Tainan City Government, Tainan attracts a significant number of Muslim tourists from all over the world because of its renowned food and historical attractions. Additionally, the Tainan City Government is aggressively promoting Halal certification and tourism that is welcoming to Muslim visitors who may also partake in delicious meals without worrying about their safety. 19 businesses have been verified as Halal-certified by the Tourism Bureau. The historic Taiwanese capital will see greater commercial chances and development by creating a Muslim-friendly environment for Muslims.

To verify that the food is suitable for Muslims, halal certification is often evaluated by Muslim organizations, Islamic law experts, and food and nutrition experts. In order to keep track of all the certificates in Tainan, the Tourism Bureau, Tainan City Government has also employed the Halal certification method. Promote Tainan to the world, encourage more companies to improve their acceptance and integration of other cultures, and ensure that foreign visitors are treated with warmth.
