Recently, there have been frequent cases of fraud at home and abroad. In order to help foreign students understand multiple fraud methods, First Tainan City Service Station launched the "Fucheng Overseas Student Action Service Care Train" again, in conjunction with the Tainan City Government Labor Bureau, Police Station, and other Units, we work together to advance the campus and to strengthen publicity, call on foreign students not to be deceived, and provide relevant consultation and reporting channels. Especially for new types of fraudulent methods, such as overseas high-salary fraud, online celebrity illegal work, and high-salary gaming work, etc…

The Immigration Department is attaches to the adaptation of foreign students to life in Taiwan. In addition to advocating the rights and interests of residence status for new foreign students, to  foreign graduated students, they also combines police units to share examples of being deceived by job scaming, such as exaggerated benefits, vague content or other doubts on  vacancies, such as typing, customer service, online shooting, live broadcast, model, Internet celebrity, dealer, e-sports player, gaming, ironwork, hydropower, mud work, decoration, etc… Whether the job vacancies are located at home or abroad, they must strictly view those vacancies, and always keep in mind the "3C" principle, "Calm Down as in stay calm, Check it out as in carefully checked  and Call 165 if there is a problem." In this way, students are allow to study abroad to Taiwan without concerns.

The director of the First Tainan City Service Station, Zhi-Hong Lin stated that the Immigration Agency cares a lot about foreign students. They not only go to the campus every year to give lectures on laws and regulations, but also strengthen campus safety notifications through cross-unit cooperation. Especially because there have been frequent fraud incidents happened recently, students are told to double-check information on the Internet. If they have any questions in Taiwan, they can call the "1990" consultation service hotline for foreigners who are living in Taiwan. Besides the consultation service hotline is free charge, it also provides multilingual services.
