Lawrence Wong (黃循財), Minister of Finance of Singapore (新加坡財政部長), stated that Singapore will establish a "tourism corridor" (旅遊走廊) with countries or regions where the Covid-19 epidemic is under control. People who have been vaccinated do not need to be quarantined or they may be allowed to do home quarantine. By that time, this deregulation will be extended only to people who have been vaccinated, because they are better protected from the virus. In addition, Singapore will not remove all social distancing regulations. It may remove the requirement to wear masks outdoors, but it will still require people to wear masks in indoor and enclosed environments.
