National Immigration Agency (Yilan County Service Center) organized the “Education and Law & Act” course for immigrant families on February 22, introducing immigrants’ entrepreneurship journey to nearly 20 immigrant families from Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, France, and China, etc.

At the same time, immigrants were also encouraged to apply for “The Scholarship Program for Immigrants & their Children (新住民及其子女培力與獎助學金計畫)” before March 14.

Lin Chun Liang (林春良), the current chairman of Yilan County Beauty Association, has been commissioned by the Yilan County Government to hold courses such as "Beauty Course and Pre-employment Training", and "Nail Art Skills Advanced Course for Immigrants", etc.

A lecturer in the “Education and Law & Act” course was invited to explain the whole process of obtaining professional certificates such as beauty and nail art for the students who attended the course.

Besides, immigrants’ stories of attending training courses, and their bittersweet entrepreneurship journey were shared during the talk. NIA also explained the process of the incentives application process to those who are interested.

Jian Yu Ping (簡玉屏), the Director of Yilan County Service Center, stated that the application for “The Scholarship Program for Immigrants & their Children” lasts until March 14, 2022. Eligible persons are encouraged to apply soon. Besides the certificate incentives, various awards are also issued, including underprivileged & outstanding scholarships, special talent awards, president's education awards program.
