The National Immigration Agency (Penghu County Service Center) had staff visit fishing ports in Penghu County to issue multilingual epidemic prevention notices to first-time crew members. New immigrants in the area are also encouraged to undergo screening and vaccination against the COVID-19 virus.

The Penghu County Service Stations promoted the "Carefree Covid-19 Screening Program" to migrant workers through the internet. Participants will not be charged for costs, questioned, investigated, and punished (for illegal cases).  Regardless of legality of work, workers are encouraged to participate for the safety.

Safety and hygiene supplies were also provided to emphasize the importance of washing hands regularly. Everyone must remember to wear masks at all times and to pay attention to other epidemic prevention measures.
