  1. Q:Can an applicant abroad authorize someone in Taiwan to apply for the proof of entry and exit dates?
A:Yes, the applicant can authorize a relative or friend in Taiwan to apply. The required documents include original and photocopies of both the applicant’s and the authorized person’s identification cards, along with the original authorization letter. These documents must be submitted at the service stations of the National Immigration Agency.

A legitimate stakeholder is defined as someone with legal standing, such as heirs, legal guardians, creditors, and others who have a legitimate interest related to identity or property. The supporting documents must include notices or certificates from official agencies (e.g., courts, prosecutor’s offices, taxation, or land offices) indicating the need to obtain entry and exit records.
