According to Interior Minister, Lin Yu-chang, the program's application process will close on December 31, 2024. The applicable limitations will be loosened this year, so everyone who is at least 18 years old may apply. Families with intergenerational parenting, guardianship by family and friends, and rental housing will be softened will all be taken into account.
The application window will be open from July 3 through December 31 in 2019. The Construction and Planning Agency, Ministry of Interior will take the initiative to bring the old household information directly into the application, so there is no need to re-apply, and the lease can be applied without the landlord’s ID number, etc.
In order to improve the likelihood that tenants will apply, it also offers a user-friendly online application page. To grow and accommodate additional tenants, new households are welcome to apply at any time through mail or online.
