Taiwan will begin the second phase of a special program for foreign workers' entry on February 15
The second phase of a special program that allows foreign workers to enter Taiwan will begin starting February 15, 2022. The second phase of the program will require foreign workers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in the country of origin before their entry into Taiwan. After foreign workers arrive in Taiwan, their employers can arrange for them to stay at a quarantine hotel to complete quarantine and self-health management. National Immigration Agency, Taipei City Service Center promoted “Prevention of African Swine Fever” to migrant workers
To prevent the invasion of African swine fever, National Immigration Agency (Taipei City Service Center) and Taipei City Brigade visited Taipei Railway Station and promoted “Prevention of African Swine Fever” to migrant workers. They are appealed not to violate laws by bringing or importing meat products, as well as food products categorized as processed meat such as sausages, hot dogs, ham, dried meat, beef jerky, and canned meat to Taiwan. Attention to parents! The 7-day “Paternity leave” has taken effect from now
As “Pregnancy checkup leave for the husband” and “Paternity leave” have been increased from 5 days to 7 days since 2021. For the 2 additional days, the salary is subsidized by the central government, and both parents can apply for parental leave and claim subsidies at the same time.
