At the same time, to prevent the Omicron variant, six countries including South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, Swadini, and Zimbabwe have been classed as "key high-risk countries" since November 29. People entering Taiwan and have been to any of the aforementioned countries in the previous 14 days, including transit passengers, will have to serve 14-day quarantine in state-financed collective quarantine venues.
