  • Hospitals in Taipei City offer free PCR tests

Taipei City mayor Ko Wen-je (柯文哲) announced that 7 hospitals in Taipei City will be offering free PCR tests and this service is not limited to residents of Taipei City. (Detailed report: Free COVID-19 PCR tests now available in Taipei by online appointment)

  • Migrant workers prohibited from going out, central government made some adjustments

After the cluster infections among factory migrant workers in Miaoli County, magistrate  Hsu Yao-chang (徐耀昌) responded by restricting migrant workers from leaving their dormitories to avoid the risk of exposure to the virus.
