Tainan Minzhi Civic Square
The Tainan City Government will host the &ldquo2024 Happy Tainan Christmas Lighting&rdquo event on Saturday, December 7, at 6:00 PM at Minzhi Civic Square. The Christmas tree art installation, themed &ldquoStarlight in Ying&rdquo, features diverse Christmas elements and geometric floral designs, creating a festive atmosphere at the square. Starting at 2:00 PM, activities such as a warehouse market, parent-child DIY, and the &ldquoLittle Police Officer&rdquo program will take place. In the evening, there will be stage performances, raffles, and the distribution of Christmas gifts. The event promises to be fun and engaging for everyone.
Tainan Xinying Cultural Center
The &ldquo2024 Tainan Christmas Light Festival &ndash Xinying Cultural Center and Green River Corridor Light Zone&rdquo officially kicked off on November 29 with a lighting ceremony hosted by Mayor Huang Wei-che. The highly anticipated Christmas tree lighting ceremony began at 6:30 PM. Amid a united countdown, the Christmas tree at Xinying Cultural Center Plaza and the Green River Corridor were illuminated, bringing a warm and peaceful Christmas atmosphere filled with blessings.

Kaohsiung Christmas Life Festival
Kaohsiung's Christmas celebrations have officially begun! The series of events opens with the &ldquoStrolling Along the Axis: Feast of Lights&rdquo, featuring the main Christmas installation, a 26-meter-tall &ldquoForest Tree&rdquo, located in Central Park. The event also includes nine themed light zones integrated with the park environment and decorative lighting along Zhongshan Road, highlighting the city's central axis.
Building on the success of last year's inaugural &ldquoKaohsiung Christmas Life Festival&rdquo, this year&rsquos events will run from December 20 to Christmas Eve. With four days of exciting musical performances and a festive-themed market, the event offers Kaohsiung residents a magical Christmas weekend filled with romance and joy.
