The Chiayi City Service Station of the National Immigration Agency (NIA), Ministry of the Interior, recently hosted a family education and legal awareness event to promote care measures for new immigrants. The event also invited a recruitment officer from the Central Division of the Coast Guard Administration to introduce maritime patrol work and encourage young individuals to join in safeguarding maritime safety.

The NIA is committed to promoting care measures for new immigrants, such as the "Dream Building Project," which offers up to NT$100,000 in funding for new immigrants and their children. Dream locations are not restricted to Taiwan, and applications are open until November 25 this year. Additionally, the agency offers scholarships and awards ranging from NT$2,000 to NT$50,000. This year, a "New Immigrant Employment-Friendly Workplace Program" was launched, providing a job search zone on the New Immigrant Empowerment and Development Information Portal.The New Immigrants and Their Children's Dream-Building Program offers a prize of up to NTD 10 million.
