Ku's real name is Richard Paul Camille Quentin. Ku stated that he feels acknowledged by Taiwan as he is permitted to live there continuously. His long-term objectives are to boost Taiwanese people's self-esteem and feeling of national identity in addition to using his power to spread awareness of the country among outsiders.

Ku also noted that living in Taiwan is incredibly efficient and convenient, and that the country's climate is ideal for the growth of creative individuals. Taiwan offers amateurs more chances than France and South Korea, which is another way that it provides them a "sense of belonging."

According to the director (林財榮) of NIA New Taipei City Service Center, the government is constantly changing and relaxing pertinent laws and regulations to improve the country's competitiveness and attract and retain international talent. The goal is to enable more exceptional individuals from around the world to visit and remain in Taiwan for development.
