The "Keelung Anti-Fraud Team" was created by the Keelung City Government in response to National Anti-Fraud Day on May 5th. Vice Mayor (邱佩琳) went to the City Police Station to present the flag and launch the electronic patrol signature system opening ceremony. Four new immigrants from Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Myanmar were invited to undertake bilingual anti-fraud advertising on site.

The Keelung City Government announced that the "Keelung Anti-Fraud Team" will be made up of various city government bureaus, as well as local communities and financial institutions, in order to improve the general public's capacity to recognize fraud and disseminate the idea of fraud prevention throughout the entire community. An electronic patrol signature system has also been introduced by the Keelung City Police Bureau. The city currently has 1,160 patrol boxes in place, and in order to increase efficiency, the original paper signatures have been swapped out with electronic chip sensors (NFC Tags).

According to the Keelung City Police Bureau, the electronic patrol signature system can track the location and status of the police in real-time using GPS locating. As a result, if the police are tracking suspects, they may also assess the situation quickly and take the appropriate action. Additionally, paper patrol signatures are susceptible to becoming wet owing to the regular rain in Keelung. It was favorably accepted by the police after transitioning to electronic signatures.
