The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC,中央流行疫情指揮中心) announced the quarantine plans A, B, C for Chinese New Year. A: 14+0+7, individuals can only live in quarantine hotels. B: 10+4+7, individuals can only live in quarantine hotels for the first 10 days. C: 7+7+7, individuals must be administrated 2 doses of vaccines for 14 days before entering Taiwan.

For the Chinese New Year plan, the Minister of Health and Welfare Chen Shih-chung (陳時中) explained that in plan “C (7+7+7)”, individuals are required to undergo COVID-19 rapid test by using a rapid test kit at home. However, taking into consideration the inconvenience caused, the state-financed rapid tests will be provided.

CECC also opens the booking of collective quarantine venues for plan “C (7+7+7)”. Starting from December 14, 2021 to February 14, 2022, a total of 6 rounds will be available.

Each round will provide 3,600 rooms, and the capacity served will reach 21600 people. People in need can check relevant information at the information area of the collective quarantine venues and the reservation website of the collective quarantine venues.
