The 2023 Yuguang Island Art Festival (漁光島藝術節) will take place on Yuguang Island in Anping District, Tainan City for the fourth time this year. The festival will run from March 24 to April 16 for 24 days. A limited market (草木森花之市) will be held on weekends and continuous holidays, combining music, dance, film, and other art forms with fishing. 14 pieces of artwork will be featured in the dual themes of "Art on an Island " and " Remapping the Island".
Another highlight is the special event(島上遶境), which will take place on April 2 in collaboration with "kūn-tóo sîn-tsiu" (鯤島神舟) by artist Li Yu-Shen(李育昇). Meng Ken-Ju(孟耿如), an entertainer, also displayed her artistic talent by "Aru's first visit to Yuguang Island." (Aru第一次來漁光島) More than 10 performances will be held back-to-back by artists Abao (阿爆), DJ Lim Giong (林強), and others, bringing everyone to Yuguang Island to take in the feast of art.

A forest-based market (草木森花之市) is created by the small local market, which links plants with food and showcases the special beauty and creativity of the local woods, flowers, and flora. It has gathered more than 300 stores spread over the north, center, and south. Tourists may experience the various aspects of the island in a creative setting thanks to the variety of stalls and market activities.
