North District Office of National Health Insurance Administration (健保署北區業務組) reminded that before receiving the Health insurance card (NIC) with the new certificate number, the old number of health insurance cards currently held can be used for normal medical treatment or vaccine appointments. However, after obtaining the new NIC, the old NIC will be cancelled. If you need to seek medical treatment, make an appointment for vaccines, or use the NIC for identity verification, you must use the new NIC; the National Health Insurance APP (健保快易通APP) also needs to re-apply with a new NIC number.
