A new "Animal Protection Classroom" has been established by the Taipei City Government, and anybody interested in adopting an animal must first spend an hour in the classroom. Additionally, an animal rescue notice mechanism has been introduced to the citizen notification office's official LINE of the Taipei City Government. People may upload videos, images, and even record their whereabouts if they come across dogs, cats, or wild creatures that need to be rescued. There are more graphic resources available now than in the past, when rescue operations could only be recorded with 1999 or phoned 1959. This can speed up the processing process and increase efficiency.

In addition to Taiwan Dog Day events, the Taipei Animal Protection Office also planned several events (毛孩健康同樂會、Hey!一起守護動物吧、毛孩學院開課啦!) in response to "World Rabies Day on September 28" and "World Animal Day on October 4" to give the public the opportunity to take part in interactive activities and educational programs to better understand the requirements of your pet.
