Ccwhy said that he could persevere in working in this field is because of his strong “Passion” and “Interest”. When he was still a student, he would not care about the click-through rate and video views. However, too many people entered this field now and it was inevitable that YouTubers would care about the video engagement, but he still keeps his initial goal of taking videos with topics he is interested in.

In this episode of “New Immigrants in Taiwan” column, Ccwhy invited Anand, a Malaysian Indian living in Taipei who is also the chef of @mamak.corner.taiwan (Mamak檔). They talked about personal experiences residing in Taiwan and a tolerant environment for people of different ethnic groups offered by Taiwan.

In the video, Ccwhy asked Anand how long it takes for him to adapt to life in Taiwan. Anand said that he found Taiwanese very friendly and they often take initiatives to assist them. Anand also shared that in Taiwan, he did receive attention from passers-by because of his skin color, but he would view it positively and believes that passersby look at him out of curiosity.
