In accordance with the adjusted nationwide level 2 alert, the Kaohsiung City Specialized Operation Brigades of the National Immigration Agency (NIA) sent staff to pharmacies and clinics to encourage migrant workers to participate in screening procedures.
Along with hospitals and medical centers, the Kaohsiung City Specialized Operation Brigades promotes the "Carefree Covid-19 Screening Program". The project is mainly composed of relief measures for foreign nationals to receive Covid-19 screening. Foreigners can seek assistance if they experience any symptoms and undergo screening procedures.

A taxi driver, Mr. Chen told the staff he once encountered a migrant worker who had to pick up medicines and did not show any symptoms of sickness. The passenger had no fever and wore a mask, however, he kept coughing while in the car. Fortunately, the passenger was assisted by the Kaohsiung City Specialized Operation Brigades and underwent screening procedures.
Migrant workers are very grateful for the friendly service they received especially during these difficult times.

The team leader of the Kaohsiung City Specialized Operation Brigades Chao Chih-cheng 趙志成 stated that a fleet of taxis was assembled to promote the project.
