Billy Walshaw (洪比利) is a second-generation immigrant singer-songwriter whose mother is an artist from the Paiwan tribe in Pingtung and whose father is from the UK. Billy grew up frequently moving between the UK and the tribe in Pingtung. His multi-cultural upbringing has so also served as inspirations for his future creative work.

Billy Walshaw made the decision to leave the school when he was 16 years old in order to focus on his music. He excels at expressing his opinions on societal issues via the lens of his multi-cultural upbringing. He taught English and guitar at the same time before becoming well-known in order to pay bills. No matter how many audiences are in the crowd, he would give it his all if given the chance to perform.
Billy Walshaw didn't start living a different life until he joined the original music competition conducted by a well-known brewer in 2022. He performed at the Taipei Music Center for the first time as a result of taking part in this audition, and because he ultimately stood out from the other works, he was awarded the top prize and a large bonus. Billy Walshaw has since gained popularity.

Billy Walshaw has always had a deep love for making music. He expects to become a bridge between East and West while continuing to create songs in both Chinese and English.
