The Taichung Cross-border Experience Demonstration Base in Taiwan and the Labor Affairs Bureau of Taichung City Government have partnered to establish an "Employment Service Promotion Area for New Immigrants" in an effort to help more new immigrants who require employment assistance. Regular employment attendants will be stationed at the location to offer job advice. Services like job search registration enable new immigrants to have a better understanding of Taichung City's resources pertaining to employment services.

According to the Taichung City Government's Labor Affairs Bureau, the bureau arranges "Industrial Chain Workshops" annually, enabling unemployed new immigrants to visit the workplace and become familiar with the work environment and content. They will be paired with on-site interviews following their participation in the program. Additionally, through three-day seminars, the Labor Affairs Bureau offers a "Functional Pre-Course" that teaches new immigrants the functions necessary in the business. Following completion of the course, individuals can be linked to vocational training related to the Ministry of Labor or the Labor Affairs Bureau in order to develop job skills and acquire a job with success.

At the Taichung Cross-border Experience Demonstration Base at ASEAN Plaza, the Labor Affairs Bureau has established an employment service promotion area for new immigrants. Employment attendants are on duty from 1 pm to 5 pm on the second Friday of each month to provide services.

Furthermore, the Labor Affairs Bureau would like to remind everyone that the industrial chain workshops for this year are currently being held in succession. You can obtain pertinent information by visiting the Taichung City Employment Service Office's employment service registration website or by calling the hotline at 04-22289111, extension 36219.
