Kinmen County Veterans Service Office, Veterans Affairs Council recently organized the "2021 New Residents’ Living Adaptation & Counseling Activity" at the Kinmen County Botanical Garden. The new residents and their families participated in the event and the Kinmen County Government’s policies on “New residents’ care service resources, Promoting New residents’ spouses’ rights, and the Regulations on new residents’ stay” are announced to them. The whole event was heart-warming and joyful, which won unanimous praise from participants.

You Wen Yong (游文勇), Director of Kinmen County Veterans Service Office, Veterans Affairs Council, said that to help new residents’ families to adapt to the new environment as soon as possible, the "2021 New Residents’ Living Adaptation & Counseling Activity" is held at the Kinmen County Botanical Garden. During the event, volunteers from the botanic garden were arranged to lead the painting activities for new residents. Besides, staff from the social services department, National Immigration Agency (NIA) were also invited to answer new residents’ questions.

Director You once again thank the new resident families who participated in the activity and gave full support to them. He also hopes to receive more advice and suggestions on the service provided, so that they can better plan care activities and provide a helping hand to the new resident families.
