The Ministry of Culture introduced the 2022 “Southeast Asia project subsidy” call for submissions. Online registration starts from December 24, teams who are interested in cultural exchanges are welcome to sign up.

To expand the international vision of civil society and enhance the people's in-depth understanding of Southeast Asian culture, history, and social development, the Ministry of Culture has launched a Southeast Asia project subsidy program since 2013. As of 2020, it has subsidized 33 exchange projects to expand cultural exchanges in Southeast Asia.

Participating countries include Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, Brunei, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, and East Timor. The content of the plan can be diverse, regardless of the subject or form. To improve the execution and feasibility of the plan, the team is encouraged to plan online activities in times of the pandemic. This exchange program is scheduled to be held between February and October 2022 plan.
