Taipei City mayor Ko Wen-je (柯文哲) announced that summer activities for elementary students will begin on August 9, including daycare centers, art classes, learning assistance centers, and extracurricular clubs.

Activities will be limited to 20 participants in 1 class and set half-day schedules to avoid mealtime. Students and teachers must wear masks at all times. Vaccinated teachers and those with negative PCR tests are prioritized in conducting the activities. T

If there is a need to have meals, partitions must be implemented. Social distancing must also be observed all throughout the activities.
