The second round of the government-funded influenza vaccination program has started, according to the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control. Adults without high-risk chronic conditions between the ages of 50 and 64 are eligible for the second phase. In order to make it easier for more people to be vaccinated locally, the CDC and CHUAN LIAN Enterprise Co., Ltd. collaborated to put up vaccination booths at certain stores this time.

The CDC said that it had produced 6.98 million doses of government-funded influenza vaccinations, which are available to those who meet the second round of requirements. The CDC also encouraged those between the ages of 50 and 64 who do not have high-risk chronic illnesses to receive the vaccinations. The CHUAN LIAN Enterprise Co., Ltd., which is working with the CDC this time around, also announced that it has arranged 78 stores around Taiwan to put up influenza vaccination booths as a way to encourage people to receive vaccinations. Additionally, presents like seasonal fruits and bottled water might be given to them.
Furthermore, the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control also reminded everyone that Taiwan has about 4,000 institutions that are contracting for vaccinations this year. Using the websites of local government health bureaus, the CDC, or the 1922 epidemic prevention consulting hotline, people may first look for the contract hospitals in the area before making a phone call. To guarantee that you can receive the vaccination and avoid standing in line, call the hospital to schedule an appointment.
