The Ministry of Labor (MOL, 勞動部) has launched the "Youth Cross-Domain Employment Allowance" (青年跨域就業津貼) program. For first time job seekers between the ages of 18 and 29 and are recommended by a public service agency to work in a location 30 kilometers away from their home, they may apply for a subsidy of up to NT$60,000. If there is a need to move and rent a house, they may also apply for a relocation subsidy of up to NT$30,000. This way, the youth will not worry about working in places away from their homes.
