Following the National Day holiday, the Taipei City Employment Service Office invited 24 renowned Taiwanese businesses to recruit talents for the different employment service stations under its purview. A total of 655 positions with salaries starting at $50,000 per month were made available.

  • 77 groups of musicians from around the world will take the stage for the "LUCfest 2023" in November

Tainan will host "LUCfest 2023" from November 3–5.

The full lineup of performances for this year was just released by the organizer.

The music festival will feature 77 groups of singers and bands from the following countries: Taiwan, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Australia, France, the United Kingdom, and Lithuania.

  • Pingtung County New Immigrants Creative Market: New immigrants blend flavors from home with regional ingredients

Ten new immigrants were invited to participate in a two-day international cuisine event (世界香料百味料理秀) hosted by the Pingtung County New Immigrants Creative Market. They presented a variety of unique recipes that they made by combining local ingredients with spices from their hometowns, enabling visitors to learn more about various national and cultural practices.

  • Taichung City Labor Affairs Bureau established an employment service center to enhance job search assistance

The Taichung Cross-border Experience Demonstration Base in Taiwan and the Labor Affairs Bureau of Taichung City Government have partnered to establish an "Employment Service Promotion Area for New Immigrants" to those who require employment assistance. Regular employment attendants will be stationed at the location to offer job advice, which enables new immigrants to have a better understanding of Taichung City's resources of employment services.
