To overcome the differences in ingredients, Chef Hong Ting-wei (洪廷瑋) used his experience and research from numerous overseas demonstration teachings to create a variety of traditional Taiwanese dishes in the event, including "Beef Noodles," "Three-cup Chicken," "Braised Pork" "Feet," "Wuxi Spare Ribs," "Braised Pork Rice," as well as desserts like "Mango Milk Sago," "Cashew Nuts," etc. The Colombian media and academics were astounded by these traditional Taiwanese tastes, which are not only highly alluring to overseas Chinese who have lived abroad for a long time.
In addition, Pedro Vargas, a journalist for Mi Magazin, made posts on his personal Facebook and X complimenting the two Taiwanese chefs' culinary prowess and the incomparable quality of Taiwanese food. He also thought that this event effectively promoted culinary culture.
