The Taipei Fine Arts Museum organized the 13th Taipei Biennial. It has just opened. Over 120 pieces of art will be on display this year, with the subject of "Small World" inviting 58 Taiwanese and foreign musicians and artists. This year's display will run through March 24.

The Beirut Art Center's director and curator Reem Shadid, senior writer and editor Brian Kuan Wood of New York, and Taiwanese independent curator Freya Chou are co-curators of this year's Taipei Biennial, which will turn the Taipei Fine Arts Museum into a place for conversation, gathering, and improvisation.
According to Wang Jun-jie, Director of the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, people are rearranging their perspectives of the world from their confined everyday lives as the world slowly recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic. The Taipei Biennial, one of the key venues through which Taiwan engages with contemporary art worldwide, aims to employ innovative ideas to lead viewers to learn valuable lessons from the small world.

According to the Taipei Fine Arts Museum, over 120 pieces of art are on display at this year's Taipei Biennial, including 19 newly created pieces and commissioned pieces in addition to a number of sounds, moving image, photography, video, painting, sculpture, and installation pieces. With an emphasis on interpersonal emotional contact, Taipei Fine Arts Museum has also specifically converted one of its basement exhibition rooms into a Music Room.
