Many citizens spend a lot of time at home because of the recent epidemic. The Cultural Affairs Bureau, New Taipei City (新北市文化局) launched the "New Taipei City E-Library (新北E書房)" to provide people with online learning and entertainment services.

The New Taipei City E-Library has resources appropriate for all age groups, language learning, innovative learning, celebrity lectures, storytelling, and many more. Various digital resources allow people to stay safe in their homes during the epidemic. The city library launched the "New Taipei City E-Library" website where the public can access the resources.
The Cultural Affairs Bureau, New Taipei City explained the "Come to Class (來上課)" feature offers online learning courses in language, innovation, and diversity. This allows families to learn while staying safe at home. "Come and Share (來互動)" is the library's most popular feature, where users can listen to online lectures, real-life stories and also interact with lecturers. The "Come and Interact (來互動)" section is for children where learning is made fun through storytelling, DIY activities, and games. The "Come and Watch (來看片)" section provides all kinds of dramas, children’s' programs, movies, documentaries, and more.

The first round of courses has topics like Lego EV3 robots, game anti-addiction, live sports broadcast, programming language Scratch for kids, and 9 others. Innovation is one of the many popular topics nowadays. The language learning section has English learning platforms such as "Easy test"(Online testing platform), "FUNDAY" (Online foreign language learning platform), "Web English" (Audiovisual learning platform), and other learning platforms like "Jolly Good Kangaroo" and "Enchanted Learning".
