New Immigrants Learning Center of New Taipei City to Help Integration

In order to help new immigrants quickly integrate into society, New Taipei City launched an activity includes seven categories and nearly a hundred courses are offered every year, covering community education, Chinese courses, humanities, family education, law knowledge. Excepting to let new immigrants enjoy learning, working, and live a happy life.

The courses offered by The Immigrant Center for Learning are diversified. For example, basic beauty and make-up class will open in May, allowing new immigrants to use various makeup techniques to find their own advantages through the courses of beauty and beauty instruments; local schools launched local community courses respectively in community education. In addition to allowing students to re-understand their "second hometown", they can also be trained as community guides in the future.

The chief education officer (張明文) said that through the strength of cross-department cooperation, combined with supplementary schools and additional holiday learning courses, more and more new immigrants can take advantage of the weekends to attend classes at the nearby New Immigrants Learning Center.
