Ten new immigrants were invited to participate in a two-day international cuisine event hosted by the Pingtung County New Immigrants Creative Market. They showcased a range of unusual dishes that they created by combining spices from their hometowns with locally sourced products.

For this event, the Pingtung County Government invited ten new immigrants of the Department of Social Affairs to give live demonstrations and lessons utilizing local spices from their hometowns, including pandan leaves, curry, laksa, lemon leaves, tarpaulin leaves, and lemon. Many interesting dishes are completed with rich aromas by combining lemongrass and other spices and herbs with local ingredients.
