Japanese toymaker MegaHouse has unveiled the world’s smallest functional Rubik’s Cube, a tiny puzzle measuring just five millimeters (0.2 inches) across each face. Made from aluminum, it weighs only 0.3 grams and comes with a hefty price tag of 777,777 yen (about $5,320), likely positioning it as a collector’s item. MegaHouse partnered with precision engineering firm Iriso Precision to bring this micro-cube to life, and Guinness World Records has certified it as the smallest rotating puzzle cube. The miniature cube in comparison to a standard one TM & Spin Master Toys UK Limited

Released to commemorate the Rubik’s Cube's 50th anniversary, the miniature cube pays tribute to Hungarian inventor Ernő Rubik's enduring puzzle. Over 500 million standard cubes have been sold since its 1974 creation, with competitions held worldwide. The current speed-solving record for the classic 3x3x3 cube is held by Max Park, who solved it in just 3.13 seconds.
